The Leader-Post is seeking a talented, motivated news photographer to provide Saturday and Sunday coverage for leaderpost.com and the Leader-Post print edition.
We're looking for visual storytellers who are comfortable shooting breaking news, sports, and feature photos, capturing both still images and video for posting to our affiliated digital properties. In addition to being technically adept, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated self starter who is comfortable working independently. Hours are highly variable and some night work will be required. Depending on circumstances, we'd be prepared to consider a team of photographers prepared to share the work. Interested candidates should apply in confidence by Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
Resume and covering letter should be accompanied by a portfolio of no fewer than six and no more than10 images. (Submitted images should have a resolution no greater than 72 dpi.) If you include links to video posted on the web, we'd like to see those too.
